PTA Programs, Fundraisers, and Events

PTA programs, fundraisers and events are run by committees of dedicated Strawtown parents. There are many different types of activities PTA committees run, for example:

​

• Fundraisers such as the Box Top Program and Scholastic Book fair 

• Community support such as the Blood Drive and People to People Food Drive

• Social Events such as the Back to School Picnic are funded and run by the PTA but do not raise money

• Student Programs such as Earth Day and Cultural Arts programs run during the school day are funded by the PTA

Did you know one of the PTA's many activities is to give College Scholarships to Strawtown Alumni graduating from South High School?
